An active member of Ricardo’s regional senior leadership team, responsible for leading cross services high- impact sales team and their collective Business Development efforts. Develops and maintains Ricardo business relationship within markets and clients with focus on engineering consulting business and large programs. Develops and secures a growing stream of profitable engineering consulting business from assigned markets both directly and through the efforts of the regional BD team. In accordance with Ricardo’s strategic plan, executes and coordinates the business development process. Additionally, supports and works closely with other Ricardo Divisions, Software, Defense, Rail and Strategic Consulting.


Essential Functions:

  • Orchestrates and coordinates the Ricardo selling team (including Business Development Directors, chief engineers, product managers, and operations) in assigned markets and clients, keeps them informed of latest client and market developments
  • Defines Business Development Directors territory assignments for new and existing client relationships/opportunities. 
  • Works with the Senior VP of Business Development to set quotas, manage lead review and value selling process to help improve close rates and drive order intake (i.e., new orders) to meet and exceed regional goals
